Xtra Time Web Desk: Virat Kohli hit his first maiden T20I Century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022 on Thursday. After 1019 days, the former skipper scored his 71st century with a bang. He scored 122 Runs off 61 Balls including 12 Boundaries and 6 Over Boundaries with a strike rate of 200.
In the mid-innings chat Virat said “I feel very blessed, very grateful right now. The last two and a half years have taught me a lot. I’m going to turn 34 in November, so celebrations are all from the past. “
With 71 Centuries, Kohli also equalled Ricky Ponting on the list of most Centuries in International Cricket.
