Xtra Time Web Desk:  Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc was spotted in the stands at Sharjah Stadium on Saturday, October 5, supporting his wife, Alyssa Healy, during the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Healy, captaining the Australian team, led her squad to a convincing six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in their tournament opener.

Starc was seen enthusiastically cheering for Healy as players and fans braved the intense heat in Sharjah. The couple often travels together during cricket tournaments; Healy was with Starc last season during his stint in the Indian Premier League.

With this win, the defending champions Australia started their campaign on a high note, moving to second place on the points table with a net run rate of +1.908. In contrast, Sri Lanka continued to struggle, having lost both of their matches so far.
