IPL 2025: The road to 23 wins: Rohit Sharma reveals Team India’s ICC blueprint

In their last three ICC limited-overs tournaments, India has lost only once out of 24 matches, with the defeat coming against Australia in the 2023 ODI World Cup final on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
In 2024, India triumphed in the T20 World Cup held in the West Indies and USA, winning eight consecutive matches. Rohit’s team continued their dominant form in the Champions Trophy, winning all five of their matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

With this victory in the Champions Trophy, Rohit became only the second Indian captain to win multiple ICC trophies. He joined MS Dhoni (3), Sourav Ganguly (1), and Kapil Dev (1) in the elite list of Indian captains with ICC trophies.
