Xtra Time Web Desk: Kolkata police arrested Rituparno Pakhira, an 18-year-old fan, for breaching security and invading the pitch to meet Virat Kohli during RCB's IPL 2025 opener against KKR at Eden Gardens. Pakhira, scaled the barricade and ran towards Kohli, touching his feet before being escorted away by security. He was charged under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for criminal trespass and endangering safety. As RCB now heads to Chennai for their clash against CSK at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on March 28, security concerns resurface.
