Xtra Time Web Desk: India’s young tennis talents Akanksha Ghosh and Arzan Khorakiwala created a stir at the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) J30 tournament in Colombo, Sri Lanka, by capturing the doubles title. The Indian pair showcased remarkable skill and resilience throughout the junior-level competition, culminating in a thrilling final victory over Japan's Hari Ishida and Korea's Gain Lee with a scoreline of 6-4, 0-6, 10-2.

From the outset, Akanksha and Arzan demonstrated their dominance on the court. In the first round, they overcame the Sri Lanka-China pairing of Youhansa (Sri Lanka) and Mingxi (China) in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.

Continuing their fine form, the Indian duo defeated China's Ken and Zhuo with an identical 6-4, 6-3 scoreline in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinals, they powered past the Japanese team of Souna and Mei, winning 6-4, 6-0 to book their spot in the final.

In the championship clash, despite dropping the second set, Akanksha and Arzan kept their composure to edge past the Korean-Japanese duo in a tense match tie-break, sealing a historic win.
