Xtra Time Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday, March 28, announced that they're inviting applications for spin bowling coach at the Centre Of Excellence in Bengaluru. BCCI said that role will be integral to the development and performance enhancement of India's spin bowling talent across all formats and in all age groups, including India Senior Teams (Men & Women), India A, U-23, U-19, U-16, and U-15 squads and State association players training at the Centre Of Excellence.

…The applications will be reviewed by the Cricket Advisory Committee and shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews and skill assessments.

The BCCI emphasized that the spin bowling coach will play a key role in nurturing young talent and ensuring a consistent pipeline of world-class spinners. The role will also involve:

Designing and implementing specialized spin bowling programs

Working closely with the National Cricket Academy (NCA) coaching staff

Providing individualized plans for elite and emerging spinners

Using technology and analytics to improve performance

Collaborating with domestic coaches to streamline training methodologies

Applicants are expected to have high-level coaching credentials, significant experience in spin bowling development, and preferably prior experience working with elite players or at the national level.
