On Tuesday Board of Control for Cricket in India has already made an announcement regarding the postponement of 14th season of Indian Premier league (IPL 2021, Indian T-20 League). One by one franchise members are leaving for their home. Even in this departure episode Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is showing his leadership skills off the field.
CSK captain has decided not to leave team’s hotel till all players in the Chennai squad depart safely for their hometowns. Dhoni has taken a call that he will be the last one from CSK squad to leave for Ranchi after all the players have left for home. That includes overseas players like Faf du Plessis and Dwayne Bravo.
39-year-old former India captain is currently staying at the team hotel in Delhi. A member from CSK squad has said to the media that “Mahi bhai said that he will be the last person to leave the hotel. He wanted foreigners to leave first, then the Indian players. He will be taking the last flight tomorrow when everyone reaches their home safe and secure.”
