Xtra Time Web Desk: India wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha on Friday said he is doing much better since testing positive for a second time during the quarantine period. There have been misleading reports about the Bengal stumper since he tested positive for a second time. Saha, who is staying in isolation in Delhi since contracting the virus during IPL 2021, tested negative in his previous test. Wriddhiman took to twitter in clarifying that he was doing much better and his quarantine period is still not over.

Unlike last time the Sunrisers Hyderabad cricketer has no symptoms of body ache, fever, or cough. Saha, who is in isolation in Delhi will continue staying there. The report suggested that he will undergo another round of testing and if he tests negative, doctors might consider releasing him from quarantine by Monday. Saha had earlier revealed that he was scared after having tested positive for coronavirus.

According to Wriddhiman’s wife Romi, “He was tested positive on the 9th day. He is still in isolation. His 14 days quarantine is getting over on Sunday following which he will be tested again.”

She also added, “Wriddhi is supposed to travel back home on June 16 before joining the bio bubble for the tour of England.”

Unlike the other cricketers, Romi will not accompany her husband to England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has allowed the players to take their family as there is a break of more than a month before the test series starts on August 4. The final of the ICC World Test Championship will be played from June 18-22 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
