Prithvi Shaw halted by police while on the way to Goa for vacation
Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw was stopped by police in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra while he was on his way to Goa for travelling without an E-Pass, according to a police official. The incident took place on Wednesday morning when the young cricketer was travelling in his car.
The Maharashtra government has made it mandatory to obtain a pass for travel in order to further efforts to contain the second wave of the pandemic. Shaw had applied for an E-Pass, however he had set out for Goa before it was issued. He only had a token issued against the application, according to the official. He was allowed to go after obtaining a pass, which he re-applied for online, and subsequently attained within an hour. Shaw had previously returned to Mumbai after the indefinite postponement of this year's edition of the Indian Premier League.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
