Xtra Time Web Desk: Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan got very emotional after reaching his hundred on Day 2 of the Ranji Trophy final against Madhya Pradesh at M Chinnaswamy stadium. The 24-year-old also brought out Sidhu Moose Wala signature step on reaching the milestone. Moose Wala, who died in a shootout in Punjab’s Mansa last month, was known to do this signature step in the videos of his songs and during live shows as well. His trademark move is often done by Team Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan.

As soon as he reached the three-figure mark Sarfaraz was seen in tears. He was quite pumped up and why won’t he. It has been a dream run for the talented batter. It was his fourth century of the season and his eighth First Class century overall. In eight innings so far in the competition, Sarfaraz has already scored over 900 runs with four hundreds and two half-centuries. He smashed 401-ball 275 against Saurashtra earlier in the season. He is also the leading run-scorer in the season so far.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India took to Twitter to share a video of the moment Sarfaraz reached his century.

Sarfaraz began the day on 40 not out and reached his half-century off 152 deliveries. He started accelerating soon after reaching his half century. Sarfaraz was eventually dismissed for 134, with Mumbai bowled out for 374 in their first essay.
