New Merdeka Cup Schedule Revealed: India, Malaysia, and Tajikistan to compete

Xtra Time Web Desk: Due to the ongoing conflict in the region, Palestine has already withdrawn from the upcoming Merdeka Cup. In light of these circumstances, the Football Association of Malaysia announced a new schedule for the Merdeka Cup on Tuesday.

As a result of Palestine’s absence, India, Malaysia, and Tajikistan will now participate in this year’s Merdeka Cup.

However, there have been no changes to the previously scheduled dates. The much-anticipated match between India and Malaysia will take place on October 13th at the Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, with 90,000 exclusive seats booked for the event.

The winner of that match will compete against Tajikistan on October 17th. The victorious team in the October 17th match will be crowned the Merdeka Cup champions this year. Each match will be held at 6.30 PM local time in India.
