Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has not only redefined fast bowling but also become a source of inspiration and learning for his coaches and teammates. Since his comeback from injury last August, the right-arm quick has been instrumental in Team India's success across all formats.

Bumrah's exceptional performance in the recent T20 World Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament, elevated his stature from a solid bowler to one of the world's best. His ability to read game situations and adapt accordingly sets him apart, often being the go-to bowler for the skipper in crucial moments.

The coaching staff, led by Rahul Dravid, played a crucial role in managing Bumrah's workload, ensuring he remains at peak fitness for key assignments. India's departing bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, shared insights into what makes the 30-year-old so special.

"I don't think I have had to do much with him. I would love to say that I've worked on him a lot as a bowling coach. What better than Bumrah performing and I taking the credit? But I don't. I've said in the past... he is a once-in-a-generation bowler. India has produced great bowlers, and more will come, but Bumrah is a once-in-a-generation bowler in all three formats," Mhambrey told Vimal Kumar in an interview.

Mhambrey highlighted Bumrah's exceptional skills and clear mindset. "Be it the red ball, ODI, or T20I, he is No1. He understands bowling well and has clear plans. When I talk to him, I realize he knows what he is going to do. He understands when a batter is uncomfortable facing him and tries to exploit the situation. He will pick up small nuances to guess what the batter is trying to do," he added.
