IPL 2024: Akaay’s birth was a life-changing moment; says Virat Kohli
Xtra Time Web Desk: Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star batter, Virat Kohli, called the birth of his and Anushka Sharma's second child, Akaay, a life-changing moment. The power couple welcomed their second baby, a boy, in London on February 15, 2024. The second time parent of took to Instagram to announce the news and received a lot of love and blessings from their fans as well as industry friends. They also requested some privacy as they celebrated the arrival of a new member of their family.
The official social media handle of RCB posted a special video, featuring their players, asked them what had changed in their lives between IPL 2023 and the current season. RCB captioned the post, "Change is constant, change is good. It shapes our journey as it should. What has changed in the lives of Royal Challengers since the last IPL."

Kohli said, ‘I feel life just changes constantly and nothing ever remains the same and I would say just normal, apart from a really amazing occasion of us having our 2nd child.’

Kohli had returned to India a few days before the IPL 2024 and joined the RCB practice during their Unbox event in Bengaluru. He took paternity leave from the Indian vs England Test series to stay with his family during the birth of his and Anushka's second child.
