ISL: Where will Roy Krishna play in the upcoming season?

XtraTime Web Desk: Where will Roy Krishna play next season? Is he going to play in India or abroad? If he plays in India which ISL club will he prefer? There has been lot of speculations with the top scorer of Indian Super League (ISL) last season. The man himself is tightlipped as he is holidaying with his family in Fiji.

As a professional footballer Roy Krishna is keeping a track of the recent developments. The Indian Foreign Ministry is yet to take a decision about re-opening its border control. Whatever the situation is the Fiji born striker has to take a call before October 22 as it is also the last date for the first transfer window.

It is learnt the Fijian footballer has offers from ATK-Mohun Bagan. He played for ATK last season. Krishna also has offers from Mumbai City FC and East Bengal though there is no official confirmation from the Kolkata club.

Roy Krishna arrived in India last season after a record-breaking season in the A-League with Wellington Phoenix where he scored 19 goals in 27 games. He was brought by ATK and he did not disappoint the franchise owners. Krishna helped the Kolkata franchise win the ISL title for a record third time making it the most successful team in the history of ISL.

It was a familiar sight for the ATK fans to see this diminutive striker scoring goals. Despite an injury, Krishna finished with 15 goals, the highest in the league alongside Nerijus Valskis and Bartholomew Ogbeche, and six assists from 21 games.
