XtraTime Web Desk: The UEFA Champions League final will be staged in Lisbon on August 23. UEFA officially announced on Wednesday. A decision is pending on whether the four remaining round of 16 second legs, to be played on 7/8 August, will take place at the home team’s stadium or in Portugal.

It is also very likely that the remainder of the Europa League will be held in Germany while the women's Champions League is to be completed in San Sebastian and Bilbao.

The Champions League matches were called off due to the coronavirus pandemic in March. The last fixtures that were held were the Round of 16 second leg ties on March 10 & 11. Atletico Madrid, PSG, RB Leipzig and Atalanta have already sealed their berths in the Quarter Finals. The remaining four Quarter Finalists will be decided after the second round of 16 return legs.

Juventus has a 0-1 deficit from first leg. Manchester City have a 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the first leg. Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have a 3-0 aggregate over Chelsea. Coppa Italia finalists Napoli and Barcelona played a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
However, from the last eight of the competition onwards, each round will be a one-off encounter and will be played in Portugal in August.

In the Europa League, two round of 16 ties - Roma vs Sevilla and Inter vs Getafe -will need to be played out as two-legged affairs, one at each side's homes, while the remaining six second leg encounters of the same stage also need to be completed at their previously designated locations.
