Xtra Time Web Desk: The BCCI on March 25, Monday, released the schedule for phase 2 of the ongoing IPL 2024 season. While early reports had stated that the IPL maybe shifted from India due to the clash with the Lok Sabha elections, the announcement on Monday has now confirmed the entire tournament will be conducted in India this year.

Ahmedabad will be hosting the Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 21 and 22. The Qualifier 2 and The final will be played in Chennai at the iconic Chepauk stadium. The Qualifier 2 will take place on May 24 while the final will take place on May 26.

The final match of phase 1 is scheduled to take place on April 7 between Lucknow and Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The second phase will start right away on April 8 with KKR facing CSK at the Chepauk.

The first double header of Phase 2 will be on April 14, Sunday when KKR will welcome LSG to the Eden Gardens for a 3:30 PM IST match. This will be followed by the big clash between MI and CSK at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

There will be a total of 11 double header days in the second phase. Delhi Capitals, who will be using Vizag as their home ground in phase 1, will return to the Arun Jaitley stadium for the clash against Sunrisers Hyderbad on April 20.

Dharmasala and Guwahati will be getting two matches each with PBKS and RR taking them as their home matches respectively. Punjab will face CSK on May 5 and RCB on May 9 at the HPCA stadium.

RR will be using Guwahati as their home ground for matches against PBKS on May 15 and KKR on May 19, which incidentally will be the final league game of the IPL 2024 season.
