IPL 2021 : Stricter Restrictions inside bio-bubble,Indian Cricketers to get vaccinated

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) keeping in mind the prevailing situation has taken some strict decision along with the decision to vaccinate al the Indian cricketers taking part in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021,Indian T-20 League).

Due to the surge in Covid caes in India now, all those people who are inside the bubble will have to mandatorily go through covid testing once in 2 days, as opposed to once in 5 days earlier. No cricketer can order food from outside the hotel in which they are staying. BCCI Chief Executive Officer Hemang Amin said that earlier they had permitted players to order and have food from outside of the bubble, but now all the cricketers have been barred from doing so keeping in mind the recnt alarming situation. Amin also added that the level of cautious security has been increased inside the bio bubbles as well.

In an interview with one of the leading news channel from India Hemang Amin was quoted “Earlier in the tournament, we had permitted food deliveries from outside your designated hotels, but these privileges have also been withdrawn. Apart from this, we have also increased our level of caution to strengthen our bio-bubbles.” An inside source in BCCI has revealed that “The Indian players can get vaccinated from Saturday. It is a call that is left on players. Only the Indian players can get vaccinated here.”
