IPL 2020: KKR Captain Eoin Morgan vows to come back stronger next season

Xtra Time Web Desk: Kolkata Knight Rider’s captain Eoin Morgan has shared a positive message for the fans on Thursday following the team’s exit from the ongoing IPL 2020 in UAE. The Knight Riders failed to make it to the Playoffs after Sunrisers Hyderabad’s win against Mumbai Indians in the final league match.

Following the team’s elimination, captain Eoin Morgan posted a message on Twitter, thanking fans for their support and vowing to come back stronger in the next IPL five months from now. “Thank you to all of our loyal fans for your support this season. It’s now time to take stock, learn and come back stronger #KKRHaiTaiyaar @KKRiders,” Morgan tweeted along with a picture of the entire KKR unit.

The England World Cup winning captain replaced Dinesh Karthik as the skipper of KKR mid season following the wicketkeeper batsman’s decision to relinquish the post. Even the change of guard did not inspire the Knight Riders to proceed to the Playoffs as they finished fifth in the table with 14 points.
