Xtra Time Web Desk: In an effort to strengthen their team for the future, East Bengal has signed two promising young talents from India, Vanlalpeka Guite and Gurnaj Singh Grewal.

According to reports, head coach of East Bengal, Carlos Cuadrat was impressed by the playing style and dedication of these two footballers during their preparation matches in Spain for the U-17 AFC Asian Cup. He expressed his admiration for their skills and commitment, stating that young players like them are essential for the progress of the club.

Last year, the captain of the U-17 Indian team, Vanlalpeka Guite, was selected as the best player in the SAFF Championship. He also showcased a good performance in the U-17 AFC Asian Cup. Joining East Bengal is a matter of great pride for him, and he intends to learn from coach Carlos Cuadrat and the senior footballers while showcasing his talent in this prestigious club.

On the other hand, Gurnaj Singh Grewal, another crucial midfielder for the U-17 Indian team, started his career at the Chandigarh Football Academy.
