Xtra Time Web Desk: Selection committee chairman Chetan Sharma is likely to travel to England ahead of the test series which will start next month on August 04. Selectors Abey Kuruvilla and Debasis Mohanty will be part of the Indian contingent that will travel to Sri Lanka later this month. India is slated to take part in a white ball series against the Lankans. Shikhar Dhawan led side will play three T20Is and three ODIs respectively.

Due to the travel restrictions in UK, none of the selectors could travel for the ICC World Test Championship Final. It is learnt that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to sent the selectors to both England and Sri Lanka.

As per reports both Abey Kuruvilla and Debasis Mohanty are undergoing quarantine in Mumbai and will be part of the squad to Sri Lanka. Former India captain Rahul Dravid, who will be the coach of the Indian side will be accompanied by an 18-member support staff apart from the 25-member side. Sudhir Asnani of Indore, a former international panel umpire, will accompany the side as the manager. The team will leave for Sri Lanka on Monday (June 28). The first game of the six-match series starts on July 13.
