Indian team’s bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, has raised questions about the West Indian batsmen’s defensive mentality. He acknowledged that the pitch has become slow and batting has become relatively easier. He mentioned that they started resorting to defensive shots towards the end, and that gave India opportunities to take wickets. However, the West Indian batsmen didn’t take those chances.

Praising his own team’s bowlers, the Indian coach said, “We have bowled really well, just as expected. Our bowlers have done the job.”

Looking ahead, Paras Mhambrey stated, “Our first target was to get them all out in the first innings, and now we’ll have to see what unfolds in the next innings. Bowling on such pitches can be tough for bowlers. Taking wickets on such flat tracks is not easy; it’s not at all enjoyable. You want results.”

So, it’s evident that both teams are strategizing and aiming for positive outcomes in this Test match.
