Internet Desk: Mohun Bagan Finance Secretary, Debashis Dutta throws back hard at East Bengal Secretary, Kalyan Majumdar on his comments regarding playing the derby. Kalyan Majumdar said, “Not only Mohun Bagan ground, we are ready to play against Bagan even in mars if they want. But we will play.”
Replying to this comment, Debashis Dutta today after Mohun Bagan’s win over Southern Samity in a rainy evening said, “The amount of showers we had today, I can challenge you no club ground would have been able to conduct any match properly. This is only possible for a national club like Mohun Bagan who have their existence for the last 100 years and more.”
He later added, “Regarding the derby, I would say we play on our home ground and does not need to roam around to play matches and there is no need of playing the derby in the mars.”
