XtraTime Web Desk: The Hero Indian Super League has seen some incredibly talented players over the years who appeared to be not only game changers for their respective teams, but also established themselves as the telling brands of the league. Here we have selected the top three choices we have in that list.

Iain Hume (Canada)

A monstrous performer. Iain Hume played for three sides – ATK, Kerala Blasters, and FC Pune City – during his five impeccably brilliant seasons in the league. An outstanding finisher, who won the coveted cup with ATK back in 2015-2016 and was awarded the best player of the season, too. The Canadian fired 28 goals in 69 ISL appearances, which keeps him fourth in the list of all-time top-scorers, behind Coro, India’s best forward Sunil Chhetri, and Hyderabad FC’s Marcelinho Leite

Stiven Mendoza (Colombia):

A player who was loved by entire Indian football community. Former Chennaiyin FC superstar, Stiven Mendoza was a standout performer for the side. Mendoza was the top-scorer with 13 goals in 2015; he also had three assists to his name. Adjudged the Most Valuable Player in that year, he scored the winning goal in the final against Goa, which handed Chennaiyin its first-ever trophy in the second season.

Ferran Corominas (Spain):

FC Goa’s attacking spearhead Ferran Corominas is ISL’s all-time leading scorer with as many as 48 goals in 57 matches. A two-time (2017-18, 2018-19) winner of the Golden Boot Awards, Coro has undoubtedly been one of the best and most consistent strikers in the last three editions of the ISL.
