Image Source: twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: India and Australia, both sides had played two exceptional Test matches, in the four-match Test rubber so far. Though, a funny thing had happened on the opening day of the Ranchi Test match, when Steve Smith was batting on 97. The visitors were attempting for a comeback after losing four early wickets on Day 1, a comic incident took place during Ravindra Jadeja’s 80th over. Jadeja’s delivery took a big turn and went on to stuck between Australian Skipper’s legs. India’s wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, who is also known as ‘Superman’, thought Smith had edged the ball and he jumped on the Australian captain, to catch the ball, as both the players fell on to the ground at Ranchi. The 32 year old wicketkeeper, did hold on to the ball and even went up to appeal to umpire Ian Gould. However, the umpire, who was in all laugh after the incident, immediately denied his appeal, as the ball was declared dead, after it gets stuck in the pads or in the case, between Smith’s legs.
