World Cup winning former Brazilian captain Cafu to visit India in November | Watch Video

Xtra Time Web Desk: Former World Cup winning Brazilian captain Cafu is all set to visit India in November. The former right back will be in India on November 2-4. The Brazilian superstar footballer will be brought to India by entrepreneur Satadru Dutta.

Cafu will also visit Kolkata during his three days visit to India. Football crazy fans in Kolkata has already witnessed legendary footballers in the likes of Pele, late Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, Oliver Kahn, Carlos Valderama and many more stars.

It is learnt an exhibition match will be organized on the occasion of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s 125th birthday. Named ‘Match for Unity’. Kafu will show his skills on the field. The match is likely to be held at Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan. There are talks to have a talk show.

According to Satadru, “It is part of Satadru Dutta initiative. Cafu will be in India for three days from November 2-4. He will be in Kolkata too where we are trying to organize an exhibition match. We are trying to arrange a meeting with the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee. He will also take part in a football clinic and talk show. Last but not the least, he will meet Sourav Ganguly as well”

The former Brazilian captain will also meet former India cricket team captain and currently the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly during his visit to Kolkata.

The Brazilian legend has shared a small video message on his proposed visit to India.

Cafu is the only person in world football to have played in three World Cup finals. In between, Brazil has won two World Cups. The last time Brazil won the World Cup was under Cafu’s captaincy in 2002 World Cup held in South Korea and Japan.
