File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: Former world champion Roger Federer advanced to fifth stage of Wimbledon 2016 defeating Steve Johnson of USA. However, the end of the match was not so smooth as it was started for Roger as he ended with 6-2 6-3 7-5. It was a much easier match for Roger as he today challenged world no. 29 Johnson. Previously in this Wimbledon Roger kept his winning spirit alive with strait set wins. Today Roger ended up the game within one and half hour. It was the first ever meeting of Roger against the odd Johnson. Ahead of this game a section of tennis lovers were trying to heat the arena by saying that Johnson is getting inspiration from Sam Querrey who defeated world no.1 Djokovic. However, Roger did not give any chance for any further shock if Wimbledon 2016. In this game roger cleverly utilized his service points. The first two sets were won very easily. Later in the third set Johnson fought back winning his service points and breaking one service point of Roger. Through out this Wimbledon Roger came out smoothly as he won every game within three sets. However, in none of the ties he faced any hard challenger. He won the previous match against world no.91 D. Evans by 6-4 6-2 6-2. After this win Federer reached the quarterfinal as a second quarterfinalist. He is to play his next match on Wednesday. On that day he will face Marin Cilic of Croatia. Cilic also has a good result through out this Wimbledon. In one match only he was forced to play four sets. Otherwise he also had easy wins against his odd opponents. After the shocking farewell of Djokovic from this Wimbledon every eye is on Federer.
