Xtra Time Web Desk: In a bid to get back to cricket completely refreshed, star India batter Virat Kohli is likely to take a month’s break from cricket. According to reports. The third and final ODI against England at Old Trafford in the ongoing series will be his last assignment for the country before a month-long break.

Runs seems to have dried up for the former India captain although he is not leaving any stone unturned. He has been seen putting in that extra bit of hard work at the nets, having long chats with Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour. He looked good at the start of his innings in the second ODI at Lords, striking three gorgeous drives. But then he edged a delivery outside off stump from David Willey to be caught by Jos Buttler after making 16 runs from 25 balls.

It seems Virat isn’t at a good mental space as per people close to him. In a bid to get back the perfect mental frame, Kohli has even sought spiritual help, attending kirtan in London with his wife.

Virat will stay back in London with his wife and daughter and will completely avoid cricket for a month. It is learnt that his mother Saroj will also join him in London. He will return to practice for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 in August end.
