East Bengal to face Jamshedpur FC in a pre-season friendly.

Kolkata: East Bengal will be facing ISL team Jamshedpur FC in what happens to be a friendly before the start of the respective ISL and the I-League. Owing to a less distance between Kolkata and Jamshedpur, a lot of Red and Gold fans wanted to travel to Jamshedpur to watch their beloved team play. However these fans were deeply saddened when they got to know that the match would be held in close-door.

However the question arises as to why the match is being held under closed door conditions. The match on account of being held at the TFA ground will not be able to accommodate all the East Bengal fans.

Team skipper Arnab Mondal is willing to start the game from the very beginning who was not with the club in their previous practice matches. It is expected that along with Gurwinder, Arnab would start the game while Eduardo would be featured later on.

Jamshedpur on the flip side would be ready to pounce on their opposition. Anas, Bikas Jairu and Subrata Pal would be missing the game. Star foreigner Sameegh Doutie who has returned after an injury has a high probability to feature in the game.
