Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian team management will be in a dilemma whether to tinker with their winning combination for Sunday’s Super-12 game against South Africa at the Perth stadium. With the wicket at the Perth stadium likely to favor the pacers, the Indian team management might be mulling going in with four pacers and just one specialist spinner in Ravichandran Ashwin. Weather can also be a factor in deciding the playing XI. In that case Deepak Hooda, who batted for a long time on Saturday might get a nod in. Hooda was among a few Indian cricketers who turned up for the optional practice. Apart from Hooda, Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal attended the optional practice session along with Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma did come with the team for optional practice only to have a look at the wicket. Rohit was seen taking Head Coach Rahul Dravid for an inspection at the wicket.

All the top players including captain Rohit, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and others were given before the big match against South Afric.

While Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid, the captain and coach, arrived together. Dinesh Karthik and Paras Mhambrey, India’s bowling coach, were the first to hit the nets.

India has no room for change as they get ready for their match against South Africa on Sunday after securing back-to-back victories. In their last match, the Men in Blue played well, defeating the Netherlands at the Sydney Cricket Ground by 56 runs. The game had a number of positives, including outstanding performances from Rohit Sharma, Axar Patel, and Ravichandran Ashwin.
