Will Ravindra Jadeja be available for T20 series against West Indies? BCCI shares update

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian team management shared a major update on Ravindra Jadeja’s knee injury which he suffered ahead of first ODI against West Indies in the ongoing series. The all rounder had to miss all the three matches as he did not recover fully in time. It looks like he might not be available for the first T20I as well.

The BCCI medical team is monitoring Jadeja’s injury. The all-rounder was also advised not to carry out training sessions that would have aggravated his injury.

The latest update was shared by the Indian team management minutes before the commencement of the 3rd ODI match. According to the update, Jadeja is yet to achieve 100% fitness from his knee injury and thus as a result he has not been featured in the game. Like the two previous games, Axar Patel has taken the spot of Jadeja.

If Jadeja is not available, it will be a big setback for the Indian team. The team management does not want to take any chances and play Jadeja until and unless he is 100 percent fit.
