Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain Virat Kohli has always been a fitness freak and has time and again brought innovative ideas to improve his fitness. On Friday during the Indian team’s optional training session Kohli was seen training with a high-altitude mask. These masks are usually used to enhance the breathing power and lung function. Virat was seen taking short sprints with the mask on. He was watched by physical trainer Soham Desai.

The Indian team had an optional training session. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav all turned up. KL Rahul, who his struggling to get going in the tournament so far did not turn up for the optional training along with Avesh Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

The Indians trained at an enclosed area away from the media. Head Coach Rahul Dravid was seen having a long discussion with Virat Kohli. Hardik Pandya did bowl and bat as well in the nets. The all-rounder practiced along on Thursday at the ICC academy. Captain Rohit Sharma also had an extended batting session.

Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Dinesh Karthik and Deepak Chahar was seen practicing with fielding coach T Dilip. They were also seen practicing taking high catches.

Rishabh Pant looked a bit dejected as he walked alone after the practice session.

The Men in Blue will take on arch rivals Pakistan in Super 4 clash on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium.
