He was cheering and congratulating Sri Lanka for their incredible performances and amazing win.
When Gautam Gambhir was waving the flag, the entire stadium was clapping loudly for him as well as for the team. Sri Lanka even after a bad start in the final held their nerve strong and Bhanuka Rajapaksa’s wonderful innings under pressure led Sri Lanka 170/6 after 20 Overs. Wanindu Hasaranga’s 3 wickets in 17th over was totally a game changing moment for Sri Lanka. Their comeback in the tournament as well in the final made their fans delighted.
Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 23 runs in the final and won the Asia Cup for the Sixth time.
