Xtra Time Web Desk: Bollywood’s most popular playback singer at the moment, Arijit Singh on Tuesday made a sudden visit to former India captain Sourav Ganguly’s residence in Behala. Arjit was accompanied by Anilava Chatterjee, who is the Director of Greymind Communication Pvt. Ltd. The meeting lasted for couple of hours as the two most successful celebrities interacted with each other.
Both Sourav and Arijit shared mutual respect and admiration for each other over the years. Ganguly has always been a huge admirer of Arijit and seldom listens to his songs by searching on You Tube. The former BCCI President even expressed his long time desire to watch a live show by the Bollywood heartthrob. Arijit too promised that he would visit his (Sourav) residence once again and sing his popular numbers.
Sourav and Arijit shared a long friendship that goes back to when the left hander was unceremoniously dropped from Indian team. Arijit too was struggling to find his feet after winning accolades in Fame Gurukul reality show. Arijit visited Eden Gardens when Sourav was training hard to make a comeback into Indian team which he did.
Sourav introduced Arijit to his elder brother Snehasish who recently became the new president of Cricket Association of Bengal.
