Kolkata: A highly unfortunate incident took place which left Diego Armando Maradona fuming during his visit to Kolkata. This was the second visit to the City of Joy by the Footballing Prince. Maradona is scheduled to stay in Kolkata for 3 days and an unfortunate incident took place on Day 1 of his visit.
Maradona unveiled his statue at Sree Bhumi Club in the morning and then visited the Dhulaiwala Palace for a building inauguration followed by an event with the kids.
While visiting Dhulaiwala, some had apparently pushed his left shoulder on which he had a surgery recently on November 12. Maradona was highly infuriated with the incident as he angrily returned to his hotel.
However the anger was short lived as the Maradona was back on his happy mood as he proceeded on with his normal schedule.
In the evening Maradona visited the Fannatics Meusuem followed by a sponsors night in which he had a gala time.
