Kolkata: Struggling with 4 points 3 matches Tollygunge Agragami have appointed veteran Subhash Bhowmick as their new head coach in place of Supriyo Dasgupta. Today the team did practiced at the Rabindra Sarovar Stadium in front of Subhash.

He is almost 70 years of age; still his passion for the game can match any youngster. On being asked why he has returned to Maidan at this age again, he replied,” Making a return to the football ground is still a thrilling experience for me. I have no problem in my life and I am spending a tension-less life with my family. But coming to the field in the morning and communicating with the players is a different feeling. That is the main reason for my return to the field.”

This will be a huge challenge for Subhash as Tollygunge is really struggling in the Calcutta Football League with just four points. Subhas looked pretty confident today during his team’s practice session.” I personally know only a few footballers in this Peerless team. I came to the practice for the first time today. Seniors like Deepak Mondal and Anthony Wolfe introduced the other players with me as I only know these two lads for a long period of time. We have discussed about the problems and tried to understand that what are the reasons for this result,” said Subhash.

Subhas also added,” If the team don’t do well in next matches it won’t bother me much. I have always taken the tough challenges and that’s why I am here again.”

With a pretty good side, Tollygunge conceded five goals against Mohammedan Sporting Club few days back.” Many side had conceded five goals in past. As a coach I also faced a defeat by 5 goals earlier in my career. It could happen in any footballer’s career.”
