What improvising shots did Glenn Maxwell & Aaron Finch practice ahead of T20I series opener against India?

Xtra Time Web Desk: Australia captain Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell were seen batting left-handed against spinners at nets on Monday. Maxwell was also seen practicing switch hits, a day ahead of the T20I series opener against India at the PCA stadium here in Mohali.

The Australian team had an optional practice session on Monday with Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Finch, Cameron Green, Tim David and Adam Zampa turning up. Head Coach Andrew McDonald and assistant coach Daniel Vettori was seen spending a lot of time on David and Green.

A lot of hype has been created surrounding Tim David in the build up to the series. The dashing batter has been included in the Australian squad for the first time in his career. The 26-year-old Singapore cricketer was eligible to play for Australia because of his parents, and so after impressing the Cricket Australia selectors with his spectacular shows in various T20 leagues around the world, he earned his maiden call to the Australian team.

Cameron Green is also tipped to be the big star in Australian cricket. The tall all rounder will be playing his first series in India. Both Green and David will be looking to make full use of the opportunity. David will almost certainly make his debut for the defending T20 World Cup champions in the absence of injured Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Marsh.

After playing the first T20I in Mohali on Tuesday, the teams will then travel to Nagpur for the second match on Friday September 23, and the last match is scheduled in Hyderabad on September 25.
