XtraTime Web Desk: BCCI’s newly-elected President Sourav Ganguly came at the cricket centre in Mumbai on Wednesday wearing the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup suit where he led India to the final at Johannesburg. There he talked about the current India skipper Virat Kohli.

"Virat Kohli is the most important man in Indian cricket, we will listen to him. Mutual respect will be there, opinions will be there," Ganguly responded when asked whether he will be speaking to Kohli.

"I will speak to Virat Kohli tomorrow, we will support him in every possible way, whatever he wants," he said.

Ganguly is likely to serve only 9 months as BCCI president as the "Cooling-Off" period clause in the new BCCI constitution makes it mandatory for board officials to step down after 6 years in officeNotably, Ganguly filed his nomination for the role of BCCI president after the eleventh-hour drama earlier this month. He has been elected unopposed as the president of richest body in world cricket.

We will support Virat Kohli and his team, says BCCI’s newly-elected President Sourav Ganguly
