Image Source: XtraTime[/caption] Kolkata: After accomplishing a resounding victory over defending champions Bengaluru FC, Mohun Bagan comes back in the title race in an emphatic faqshion at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium today. Coach Sanjoy Sen literally seemed happy in the press conference as the Bagan gaffer said, "Yes, we have played the best match of the season today. We had a great rhythm throughout. The defence, midfield and forward, all the departments played exceedingly well. I'm happy." The Bagan gaffer mentioned, "A win was needed after the international break and I'm happy that my boys have secured that. But there no room to become complacent after this victory. Still five games to go." He added, "Probably 34-35 points will be the magic number to win the league." Mohun Bagan attacker Sony Norde was extremely happy and said, "If we win the East Bengal match, that will be the 80% of securing the second I-League title." Though Sanjoy Sen wants to focus on one match at a time, but heaped praise for youngsters like Azharuddin Mullick, he said, "Azharuddin had a wonderful game today. He never felt the pressure of donning the Mohun Bagan shirt in such a big game. Not only Azhar, players like, Edu, Katsumi, Sony, Sehnaj everyone played well." Darryl Duffy too was delighted to win the big clash and told, "All those crosses from Sony were just brilliant and I had to score from one of those. An important victory for us." The Bagan coach roared in confidence when asked about Roca's decision of keeping Eugeneson Lyndoh and Sunil Chettri on the reserve bench for giving the duo some rest, as he said, "Apart from them, they too had a lot of players like Vineeth, Jinghan and Daniel who have come from the national team. We have rested Balwant and Jeje as well. We scored four goals to BFC in 2015 I-League when Sunil and all the big stars played against us. This is not a big deal for us." The win will no doubt put some serious pressure on East Bengal and Aizawl FC in the chase for the title.
