We are yet to decide on the replacement for Pant: Sourav Ganguly

Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain and Director of Cricket for Delhi Capitals on Wednesday shared an important update on Rishabh Pant’s replacement ahead of IPL 2023. According to Ganguly, they will decide on Pant’s replacement after the camp in Delhi which starts from March 19. DC Head Coach Ricky Ponting’s opinion will also sought after before taking a final call.

Meanwhile the ace wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has started taking the first baby steps towards recovering from a fatal road accident in December. The cricketer from Delhi underwent surgery in Mumbai under the supervision of BCCI medical team. The 25-year-old has started walking in a pool with the help of a support, the first baby steps towards recovery.

Pant shared a video of him walking underwater in a swimming pool. He was seen holding a walking stick as he went to and fro inside the pool. He was without the bandages on his legs as well.

Apart from missing the upcoming IPL 2023, Pant will unavailable for World Test Championship Final against Australia at the Oval starting from June 7.
