The CSK captain was seen smashing sixes with utmost ease during the practice session ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season which begins from April 09. The form of Dhoni will definitely excite Chennai Super Kings fans
In a practice video shared by the franchise on its official twitter handle, Dhoni can be seen taking the bowlers to the cleaners .
Dhoni landed in Chennai on March 3 and is practising with the CSK squad after having cleared their RT-PCR tests during the stipulated quarantine period. Along with the CSK captain, Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad have also joined the pre season camp.
Apart from the legendary Dhoni, senior batsman Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad and a few others are part of the camp that got underway on Monday. Tamil Nadu’s N Jagadeesan, R Sai Kishore and C Hari Nishaanth, who was picked up during last month’s auction, trained with the likes of Dhoni and Rayudu.
IPL 2021 will start from April 09 with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chepauk. The three times IPL champions CSK will begin their campaign against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai on April 10.
