Watch: Indian cricketers take part in team bonding session in scenic Blue Spring at Putaruru

Debasis Sen, Hamilton: The Indian cricketers took part in a team bonding session at the beautiful Blue Springs in Putaruru on Thursday. It was the first instance the cricketers along with the support staffs were involved in a bonding session away from the team room in hotel. The players went to the Blue Springs, which is some 50 minutes drive from Hamilton. The team coach left the hotel around 11:30am.

The Indian captain was in jovial mood during the tour, BCCI also posted an image of the skipper at Blue Spring.

The scenic Blue Spring is a travellers delight. The water is so pure and clean that it produces a beautiful blue colour while being virtually clear.

The walk to the springs follows a track alongside the Waihou River, through wetlands, across rolling pastoral land and features views of small waterfalls, native bush and the famous Blue Spring with glimpses of trout along the way.

The cricketers took the Blue Spring walk which takes about one and a half hours each way, starting from Whites Road (State Highway 28), near Putaruru. The Te Waihou Walkway and Blue Spring is located in South Waikato near Putaruru. With plenty to see and do in the South Waikato area, the cricketers are enjoyed their stay here in New Zealand.
