Xtra Time: India’s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is making most of this lockdown by taking on new roles. Rahane is keeping himself busy practicing his childhood love .i.e., karate. He is practicing karate for three days a week. It must be noted that the Mumbai batsman is a black belt holder in karate.

Apart from karate, Rahane is regularly doing his fitness drills in the morning for 30-45 minutes. But the most important duty he is performing is that of a daddy as he is taking care of daughter Aarya. She keeps him busy throughout the day. He is also taking interest in cooking and his wife Radhika helps him with new dishes.

The 31-year-old is also reading a book named ‘The Holocaust of Attachment’ and he got to learn a lot. Rahane also has a love for music which helps him kill boredom at this time when one can’t go out.
