XtraTime Web Desk: A 7 year old little girl Pari Sharma is taking the internet by storm with her batting skills. A one minute video of the girl playing copybook cricket shots has gone viral. Pari has already become famous on twitter after her technique was appreciated by former England cricketers Michael Vaughan and Michael Atherton. Both the former England openers were impressed with her footwork at such a young age. In the video, Pari is seen playing copybook cover drives, pull shots, square cuts and an array of cricket shots. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_HL_PPD0-_/?igshid=mrklqibiqfwj Former England captain Michael Vaughan shared the video with the caption, “Have a look at this video .. Pari Sharma .. 7 yrs old .. Her movements are as good as it gets” https://twitter.com/MichaelVaughan/status/1252861928927408131 Vaughan’s teammate Michael Atherton, too shared the same video posted by ESPNCricInfo with the caption, “Exceptional” Pari could be seen middling the ball very well. She used her feet when needed, and her footwork was good on both occasions, whether it's front or back foot shot. Most importantly the 7-year-old was showing full face of the bat and there wasn't any stroke that looked out of control. Few months back a video of Kolkata kid Sheikh Sahil also went viral. In Shahil’s case he was even younger than Pari. Sahil also displayed a terrific technique and footwork while playing his cover drives and pull shots. One would hope that talents like Pari Sharma and Sheikh Sahil do not go wasted.
