Kolkata: The ‘Tug of War’ surrounding the transfer of Quess East Bengal FC forward Joby Justin gets a new drama as Hero Indian Super League outfit ATK suddenly announces the signing of the ace forward on a 3-year-contract. Though the East Bengal club sources claimed that the token and the contract is still with the Red & Gold outfit.
In a press release, the ISL franchise wrote, “The club has extended contracts of the Spanish duo (Captain) Manuel Lanzarote and Edu Garcia along with Englishman John Johnson. The win wasn’t just the only excitement which the club had to offer!
The two-time ISL Champions announced the signing of Joby Justin. The player has signed a three-year pre-contract with ATK commencing from June 2019 onwards.”
Now it is to see if the case heads towards the same direction as it did in the past in cases like Snehasish Chakraborty, Amit Das, Tolgay Ozbey and Abinas Ruidas or not.
