Virat, Rohit & co reach Hyderabad for first ODI against New Zealand | INDvsNZ

Xtra Time Web Desk: Rohit Sharma led Indian cricket team on Monday reached Hyderabad for the first ODI against New Zealand. The Indian cricketers reached Hyderabad after a clean sweep against Sri Lanka in the ODI series. The players did not train as it was a travelling day.

Man of the moment, Virat Kohli was seen coming out of the Hyderabad airport in smart casuals. Virat has been in tremendous form, notching three hundreds in his last four ODI innings. He smashed his way to a brilliant 166 not out in the third and final ODI at Thiruvananthapuram. It was his 46th ODI ton and 74th overall. Virat is just three hundreds away from equalling Sachin Tendulkar’s 49th hundred.

The Indian team is likely to train at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal on Tuesday.

The Indian team will set its sights on the No 1 spot in ODI rankings. New Zealand currently holds the pole position, but a clean sweep in the three match ODI series will see India reclaim the No 1 spot in ICC ODI rankings.

The first ODI match will be played on Wednesday (January 18) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal.
