Debasis Sen, Melbourne: Indian captain Virat Kohli rarely misses the new releases of his wife Anushka Sharma’s movies. On Saturday the Indian captain went to a multiplex here in Melbourne to watch the first day show of Anushka Sharma’s Zero.
Zero is a film produced by Kohli’s better half Anushka Sharma and was released here today. He was spotted by fans coming out of Melbourne Central Mall post the show.
Virat was spotted busy on a call as he came out of the multiplex. It is not new for Kohli to attend the screening of Anushka’s film on the first day of release. In fact if the Indian captain is in tinsel town he never misses the screening of her wife’s films. Last time the couple attended the screening of Anushka’s last release, Sui Dhaaga: Made in India
The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Anushka essays the role of a scientist suffering from cerebral palsy whereas Katrina Kaif plays the role of an actress who is battling alcoholism. All the lead characters have been brilliantly etched and the actors have nailed the parts.

Anushka and Virat celebrated their first wedding anniversary few days back in Perth recently. Anushka had taken some days off from the promotions of Zero to travel to Australia. Anushka is believed to be joining her husband again during New Years here in Down Under.
Meanwhile, most of Indian cricketers are joined by their wives spending ttime here during Christmas. The wives of cricketers Murali Vijay, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rabindra Jadeja and Parthiv Patel have joined them in Melbourne a couple of days back. While the wives of Umesh Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have already been here in Australia since Perth test match.
The Indian team will get down to business on Sunday as they start preparing for the all important Boxing Day test match.
