Virat Kohli visits Rishikesh ashram to seek divine blessings ahead of test series against Australia |

Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India’s star batter Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma recently visited Swami Dayanand Giri ashram in Rishikesh. The power couple were on a spiritual trip. Virat visited the sacred place to seek blessings ahead of the very important test series against Australia. The ace batter will be looking to score big in the upcoming series. His last test hundred came against Bangladesh during the pink ball test at Eden Gardens in November 2019.

Virat and Anushka organized a bhandara for the priests in the ashram. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Kohli was seen signing autographs. In another video, the former India captain can be seen signing a cricket ball. Kohli also took selfies with the fans. In a particular video that has gone viral, Virat was seen politely asking a fan not to take video and reminding them that this is a place for religious gatherings. ‘Bhai Ashram hei ye,’ Kohli was heard saying in the clip.

Kohli will be joining the Indian test squad in Nagpur for a short camp ahead of the four test match series against Australia starting from February 9 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium in Jamtha.

Earlier this month, they visited Baba Neem Karoli ashram in Vrindavan, Mathura to offer prayers.
