Virat Kohli practicing this special shot at the nets ahead of test series in Antigua

XtraTime Web Desk: India skipper Virat Kohli can play all kinds of shots of cricket book, but if one follows him closely they would surely know that his favorite shot is ‘sweep shot’.  In the net session he mostly practice cover drives, cut, pull shots and only plays ten percent of sweep shots.

But ahead of the Test series against Windies he practiced a lot of sweep shots in the nets. The Indian cricket played a three-day practice match against West Indies A, but Kohli isn’t playing the match. Though the run machine isn’t taking any break from practice session. He was seen in nets with India’s batting coach Sanjay Banger. Beside him India’s ace Test cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara too batted alongside him in the nets.

But the question is why Virat practiced the sweep shot more than anything. In the current situation there is not much bounce on the tracks of West Indies and the spinners get a lot of help from there. That’s why he was practicing the sweep shots to counter the spinners.
