According to images which have gone viral on social video, it seems the power couple were leaving the country for a short vacation to a undisclosed location. They were dressed in casuals with Virat sporting a cap.
Virat is enjoying the break from cricket as he is not part of India’s T20I squad against New Zealand. With still a few days to go before the Indian team assemble in Nagpur for a short camp ahead of the test series against Australia, it is not a bad idea to go for a short vacation to keep your minds refresh.
Kohli has said in several interviews about the small breaks helping him relax before the big series. Virat has been in great form in the white ball cricket, notching up hundreds in the recently concluded series against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. But as far his test record is concerned, the star batter is yet to score a century since the hundred he scored against Bangladesh in the Pink Ball Test at Eden Gardens in 2019.
The 35-year-old missed out on scoring a hundred in the test series against Bangladesh as he scored fifty plus runs in both test matches at Chittagong and Dhaka.
As far as the upcoming test series is concerned, Kohli loves playing against the Aussies. He has played 20 Test matches against Australia, amassing 1682 runs in 35 innings.
