Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma receive custom jerseys from Manchester City after FA Cup Final

XtraTime web desk: After the FA Cup Final, Manchester City presented custom jerseys to former Indian captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. The couple attended the final match at Wembley Stadium, which was the famous Manchester derby. They showed their support for Manchester City, who eventually emerged as the champions of the tournament.

Joining them at the stadium were Indian cricketers Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav, who took some time off from their practice session ahead of the World Test Championship Final.

In a video shared by Manchester City, the couple shared their experience of the match. Anushka Sharma expressed her enjoyment of the clash and mentioned that she had previously witnessed an El Clasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

“It’s been amazing. The kind of passion you experience in football games is truly unparalleled. I have been to El Clasico before, and as Virat said, I have bragging rights,” she said.

Virat Kohli mentioned that they arrived five minutes late and missed Manchester City’s first goal. He also recalled attending a pre-season game at the stadium, describing it as an unbelievable and incredible experience.

“We arrived five minutes late and Manchester City were already 1-0 up, so we missed witnessing their goal. I had been to a stadium once before for a pre-season game, and it was truly unbelievable,” he said.

When asked about the difference in atmosphere between cricket and football matches, Kohli stated that premier cricket games could draw a similar level of crowd support.

“What you experience in almost every football game, we also experience it in premier cricket games. For example, India vs Pakistan in the World Cup would be similarly loud,” he explained.
